Q:
A: Many evolutionists tend to give culture a low grade on this, but clearly group solidarity and organization, learning, sharing and communicating are just some of the traits that have proven fundamental to the continuation of our species. Actually when speaking about culture we are assessing the role of behavior in the survival of our species. Now it just happens that in Homo Sapiens behavior might be the most fundamental trait that can help explain the success of the species. Yes there are physical characteristics that distinguish us from other primates, but considering them as cause and culture as effect will shadow the role of diversity in survival.
